The Dollhouse Look Store Policy

Welcome to The Dollhouse Look, where beauty meets artistry and skincare becomes an experience. We're dedicated to providing you with exceptional makeup artistry services and high-quality skincare products. Please read our store policy carefully to understand our terms and conditions regarding purchases, services, and more.

Appointment Booking:

To secure an appointment for makeup artistry or esthetic services, full payment is required at the time of checkout on our website. Any changes or cancellations to appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of a 50% portion of the service cost as a refund. In the case of a no-call, no-show, no refund will be issued, and the full service price will be charged. Thank you for your understanding.

Late Fee Policy:

At The Dollhouse Look, we value your time and commitment to our services. To ensure the smooth operation of our schedule and appointments, we have implemented the following late fee policy:

Late Arrival:

  • Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled appointments. We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow for check-in and preparation.

Grace Period:

  • A grace period of 5 minutes will be granted for unforeseen delays. However, beyond this grace period, late arrivals may impact the duration of the scheduled service.

Late Fee Charges:

  • In the event of a late arrival exceeding the grace period, a late fee of $30 will be applied to the total cost of the scheduled service.

Fee Collection:

  • The late fee will be collected at the end of the service or added to the client's account for future appointments.

Appointment Adjustments:

  • If a client arrives significantly late, the makeup artistry or esthetic service may need to be adjusted or modified to fit within the remaining time slot.

Cancellation Policy:

  • If a client is more than 20 minutes late and does not communicate their delay in advance, the appointment may be treated as a no-call, no-show, and our cancellation policy will apply.

Communication:

  • We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If you anticipate being late, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate when feasible.

Exceptions:

  • Exceptions to the late fee policy may be considered in unique or emergency situations. Please communicate any special circumstances to our team in advance.

Payment:

  • Full payment for services is due on the day of the appointment.
  • For products, payment is processed at the time of purchase.

Travel Fees:

  • For on-location makeup and Spa services, travel fees may apply based on the distance. These fees will be communicated and agreed upon before booking.

Service Completion:

  • All makeup artistry and esthetic services are considered FINAL SALE upon completion. We strive for your satisfaction and will address any concerns during your appointment to ensure you leave feeling confident and beautiful.

Product Purchases:

Returns and Refunds:

  • Skincare products and makeup purchases are eligible for a refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase, provided the item is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, excluding any shipping fees incurred.
  • To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us within the specified timeframe to arrange the process.

Exceptions/Non-Returnable Items:

  • Due to hygiene and safety reasons, certain items such as opened or used skincare products, makeup brushes, and makeup applicators are non-returnable.
  • Gift cards, downloadable software products, and personalized items are also non-returnable.

Exchanges:

  • If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately for assistance. We will arrange for a replacement or exchange at no additional cost to you.

Damages and Issues:

  • In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or there are issues with the products, please notify us within 7 days of receipt. We will work with you to resolve the matter promptly.

Final Sale:

  • All makeup artistry services, gift cards, and promotional items are considered final sale and are non-refundable.

Privacy and Confidentiality:

Client information, including personal details and preferences, will be kept confidential. We adhere to strict privacy standards to protect your data.

Client Consent:

By choosing our services, you grant The Dollhouse Look permission to take photographs of the completed work, including makeup applications, skincare treatments, and any other services provided. These photographs may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, website galleries, promotional materials, and progress documentation.

Client Privacy:
We understand and respect the importance of client privacy. While we may share photographs of completed work, we will not disclose personal information without explicit consent. If you have specific concerns regarding privacy, please communicate with us before or during your appointment, and we will make accommodations accordingly.

Opt-Out Option:
If you prefer not to have photographs taken during or after your appointment, please inform your service provider before the session begins. We will respect your decision, and no photographs will be taken for promotional purposes.

Progress Documentation:
For certain skincare treatments and makeup transformations, we may capture progress photos to showcase the transformative journey. These photos may be used for educational purposes or to demonstrate the effectiveness of specific treatments. If you have concerns about progress documentation, please discuss them with your service provider.
